Funding and Accessibility Options for Horizons in STEM Presenters
Horizons in STEM is committed to inclusivity. This year, we are pleased to have the availability to offer two opportunities to support presenters. A limited number of bursaries are available to cover registration fees for those who do not have access to alternative funding. Additionally, we are offering an online presentation option for presenters unable to travel due to financial constraints. Please note that these bursaries and online presentation opportunities are limited and will be allocated based on demonstrated need and alignment with the conference’s goals. Evidence of need will be required at the point of registration.
Opportunities for publication
We are pleased to invite presenters to submit full papers based on their conference contributions to the Society for Natural Sciences’ New Directions in the Teaching of Natural Sciences e-journal. Papers will be considered from any STEM discipline, and submissions are welcomed from authors at all levels of experience. Papers for the journal are published online once accepted. Authors should add a note to the paper that it was presented at the conference if they wish this to appear in the published version. Further details about the submission process and the timeline for inclusion in the corresponding volume will be provided later.
