The Society for Natural Sciences (SNS) is a professional body for scientists, educators and students working across the discipline boundaries of science.

The SNS Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Group supports a number of initiatives developing teaching and learning across the sciences including monthly lunchtime online seminars to support dissemination and discussion of best practice in science education.

New Directions in the Teaching of Natural Sciences- this journal exists to showcase and disseminate innovation and research in the teaching of sciences in higher education, and publishes a post-conference issue each year following the Horizons in STEM HE conference.
